Able. the Film

The big news of the year is that I finally finished a film project I've been working on since August of 2022!

It's called Able. and I am so excited to get to share it with all of you soon!

Able. (adj.) means having the power, skill, means, or opportunity to do something. In August 2022, Meg Fisher set out to be the first paracyclist to complete the LeadBoat Challenge - racing two of the world’s toughest bike courses back-to-back in Leadville Trail 100 MTB and STB GRVL’s Black Course. The Challenge includes 250 miles and over 21,000 ft of elevation gain in the high mountains and thin air of Colorado. We all have scars and challenges. Some people wear theirs more visibly. Through her advocacy on and off the bike, Meg Fisher shows us how able we all are.

Able. The film premiered in Boulder, Colorado last week and was followed up by a screening at a film festival at SBT GRVL in Steamboat Springs, CO this past weekend.  Both events were well attended and the feedback was incredible. I’ve never gotten a standing ovation in my life and having my little sister cheering from the front row was so special.

I really want you to get the chance to see this film on a big screen near you so I’m in the process of submitting it to film festivals all over the continent, and that’s where you come in.  This project was entirely self-funded and the cost of these festival entries adds up so I pulled together a little postcard set of images of Meg Fisher riding as well as a sticker designed by Little James Arnold and all proceeds from these sales will go towards film festival entries.
