It’s finally here! The Great Fall Knitwear Collection of 2021 has arrived! For those of you who have been following along for a while know, you already know this, but for those of you who are new around here, we lost our pup last month after a battle with cancer. Her illness and the grief that has followed has made for a challenging start to the fall season and is part of why we are launching this collection a little later than usual. We promise it is worth the wait - 85 hats are in stock - which is roughly 2-3 times as big as any collection we have done previously and is so exciting because we hope more of you get a chance to snag a hat you really love.
I've always found fall kind of sentimental; it provides a little more calmness to reflect on the past months, remembering the good, the bad, and all the little moments in between. While 2021 was no cakewalk, it sure has had a lot of beautiful moments. In our third year of Powers Provisions, we've been keeping up from Kailua, HI and trying to manifest thoughts of cool fall breezes (instead of my AC unit), changing foliage (okay, palm trees are pretty cute too), and wearing anything other than shorts and tanks (I miss leggings!!)
Through and through, hands down the best part of this job is our followers, customers, and supporters who help keep this dream alive! With your support I've been able to collaborate more with fellow artists, dream up new collections, and create new patterns. One of my favorite parts of this adventure is getting to see all of you share where you take your knits, your beads, your tumblers... etc! It makes us all feel a little more connected. I guess that's one of the beautiful things about the digital world! I know I'm thankful for Instagram, Zoom, and FaceTime for keeping me connected with my favorite people.
It's hard to believe we're already looking into year four!
And as always, we always love to hear what you'd like to see more of, so please email, connect with us on IG, or send a carrier pigeon! We love lovenotes.
The Fall 2021 collection includes the classics: Tumbledown Toque, Waikiki Watchcap and Shades of Autumn Beanie as well as some new styles: The Ella Beanie, Coastie Watchcap and Fair Isle Baby Hats.
I've been a crafty kid bordering on grandma for most of my life, at times more seriously than others, and I love having a place to share that craft with you. Thank you so much for supporting our family!
