Cedar & Sky Vermont Collaboration

I love working with other artists to make beautiful things. When I started Powers Provisions I created a lot of collaboration collections and while life has ping ponged me around the country a ton the past few years, I'm beginning to feel a bit more settled and the creative space that has opened up in my brain is amazing.  

I've been a fan of Cedar and Sky Co since its inception and reached out to Alice to collaborate last month without any idea of what I wanted to do together.  We grabbed a lunch while we were both in VT and started brainstorming.  Inevitably we decided we wanted to create something from our Vermont roots.  Green mountain inspired colors and patterns.  I visited her at her Vermont studio to capture a few shots of her in action and photograph the first few pieces of the collection together. 

Though I am currently based in Montana and Alice of @cedarandsky.co in Oregon, this collection has been an excuse to work together to create something special.

Our Vermont roots run deep. It taught us what really matters—community, kindness, and taking care of the land we live on and call home. Those values have stuck with us and continue to influence how we approach our work and lives.

Today we launched a small-batch drop of Vermont-inspired jackets and earrings that reflect the beauty, nostalgia, and timeless charm of the East Coast. Whether you’re living in Vermont or dreaming of it from afar, we hope these pieces spark something special in you!
